About Me

I love my life as a Town Crier and Toastmaster. I am embarking of a new venture, That of the character Sir Walter Raleigh. My costume is being made and I should be ready to role before Christmas 2010.

I am retired and very flexible with time.

I was a member of the New Hardy Players where I played roles in several of Thomas Hardy Plays. I have also for many years taken part ig traditional Mumming plays.

I am a qualified Town Crier and Toastmaster, with experience as an after dinner speaker and Master of Ceremonies.

I am also a Childrens entertainer and balloon decorator

Now retired. I have experienced a great many of lifes ups and downs.
Member of The Ancient and Honourable Guild of Town Criers and The Loyal Company of Town Criers. I am also a member of the Association of Speakers Club.

I am on the approved Speakers list of many local organisations.

Qualifications & Training

Qualified in Occupational Health and Safety Management
Professional trained Toastmaster.
Trained in life skills including self motivation.

Relevant Skills

Life long experience in learning how to live as a good human being. I love humour and can see the funny side of most situations.

I have been on TV twice, one I enjoyed immensly, the other I did not

I have the ability to work to deadlines and I am well known for my punctuality and reliability.

Keeping fit, walking, reading, English tradition. Local history.
