Wonder Productions are looking for highly motivated enthusiastic performers, to be part of our 2014/15 Pantomime tour Sleeping Beauty.

Applicants need to work well in a close knit company; and to be able to connect/build a strong rapport with the audience especially the children. Therefore pantomime experience is preferred, but is not essential. Strong acting, singing and dance skills however are required. As this is a touring production you will be expected to assist with the construction/striking of the scenery, props, costume, merchandise etc...

Ideally looking for Actors with a Devon base, however this not essential. Driving is a massive bonus.

Auditions Central Exeter - Monday 11th August 2014

Please note this is a paid job and is paid on a ‘per show’ basis.

Contract commences on November 22nd with rehearsals in Cornwall, then tours the South West and Midlands until January 11th 2015 in a diverse range of venues including, Schools, Social Clubs, Leisure Centers, Holiday Parks and Theatres.

Casting for: -
Princess Rose (Sleeping Beauty)
Female lead, aged 18 to 30. Must be able to act, sing and dance.
Young, innocent, pretty. Needs to have a youthful look, as she is aged 12-18 throughout the show. Will also play Queen Marigold – Princess Rose’s Mum, for the first few scenes of the show.
Pantomime experience preferred, but not essential.

Muddles – The Palace Handyman
Male comic aged 18 to 35. Will suit someone with physical theatre experience. Good comic timing essential, must be able to sing, dance skills a distinct advantage! Pantomime experience preferred, but not essential.
