Details:

Established just over a year, we are a young and dynamic non-professional theatre company looking for a male actor (playing age 25-32) who is interested in joining the company for a brand new piece of work to receive its debut in 2017.

Our production, entitled "Feel" is a brand new piece of work about the development of two relationships in modern day London and a story about the quest for fulfillment, taking chances, a fork in the road and a search for a second chance at love. The other parts have been cast so this role will round out our team of actors for this production.

The show will receive it's premiere in London at the Ye Olde Rose and Crown Theatre Pub in Walthamstow at the end of March (a 5 night run at a prestigious and respected venue) with the potential to travel to fringe festivals and other venues later in the year.

Auditions will be 8th January 2017 and the rehearsal commitment is expected to be Sundays in Balham from January through March (planned) with future rehearsals in the event that the production moves to an alternative venue.

Our previous work has included the show "If I Go" (written for us) and the fringe musical "Saucy Jack & the Space Vixens" - both of which were performed in 2016.

The successful applicant will have had fringe theatre experience and have ideally worked with or have an interest in new writing as well as have the flexibility to be able to pick up and implement new ideas at very short notice. The actor required will need to be comfortable with handling complex emotional material and have a wide range in terms of acting ability. It is likely to have an intense emotional range and be a great challenge for anyone who might be interested, as well as the opportunity to work with a brilliant production team and cast who really enjoy spending time together socially as well as enjoying a supportive network of friends and peers.

More information about the work will be provided on application. On applying, please detail any previous fringe theatre experience and tell us why you would be interested in being considered.
