Jimmy ' Cream of the crop' Stott is a born and bred northerner who has a unmatched skill of throwing the arrows. A 'Jack the lad' who has the charisma to entertain his fellow man at the local pubs and working men's clubs of his working class community. Raised by his grandparents, they have brought him up into the world and shown him everything he knows. As he showcases confidence and self belief, deep down he struggles hugely with expectation as he dreams of becoming a 'somebody' from a little town in the north. As the community begins to suffer hardship and anguish; the young Jimmy has the chance to make a stand for his people, give them a voice, give them hope...
