The Challenge is the UK\'s leading charity for social integration; our main aim is to break down social barriers and create a trusting society. We do this through delivering the National Citizen Service (NCS) - a programme delivered to young people aged 15-17 year with the aim for them to challenge themselves and make a real difference to their local communities. To make this opportunity possible, we are looking for individuals with a passion for creative skills such as media, music, drama, art, photography and enterprise to lead workshops for the young people and facilitate visits to local community partners to use their new skills to act as a social catalyst for interaction. Some partners we work with include homeless shelters and elderly care homes. The paid role is 3 days a week and we have flexible contracts available throughout summer.
