Details:

The Brookside Theatre Company are casting for their next production, the hilarious black comedy, The Ladykillers.

Playing dates: 15th to 28th February 2017 - 8pm plus 2pm Saturday Matinee
Venue: Brookside Theatre, Romford Essex RM1 3NH

The action takes place in the King’s Cross area of London from 5th to 9th November 1956, as a dastardly gang of desperate villains pose as musicians using a rented room in the crumbling house of sweet old Mrs Wilberforce. Little does she suspect that she is integral to their plot to commit a grand robbery at the nearby station. And as the house becomes a battleground between the crooks and the innocent old lady, who comes out of this alive?

Adapted from the classic Ealing film, this black comedy will give actors a great opportunity for larger-than-life characterisation and action.

All rehearsals will take place at the theatre in Romford (5 mins walk from Romford Station - 20 mins from Liverpool Street). Rehearsals will be 2 evenings a week and Sunday daytimes

Please note that this is an unpaid production as all Brookside Theatre Company productions support the Romford War Memorial Charity (Reg. charity no. 206748)
