'Amber Blue' tells the story of a warm mother and daughter relationship which is played out over the course of an afternoon in a cosy kitchen of a charming house. Blue learns from her mother Amber how to cook a delicious homemade stew. However, the idyllic atmosphere soon boils up only to reveal the truth about their peculiar relationship.

Amber is a business woman in her 50s who runs a business from her home. She offers a service to people who could rent her as a mother. Amber's business is successful and is very good at what she's doing.
